Benoît Massé’s Biography

Benoît Massé joined CICS as Director, Corporate Services in June 2022. He has over 23 years of experience as a federal public servant.

He holds a Bachelor degree in management accounting from the University of Quebec in Montreal and a Master in Administration M. Sc. (concentration: accounting) from the University of Sherbrooke, as well as a CPA, CMA designation.

Benoît began his career in the public service with Natural Resources Canada as a Financial Officer (FI), before transferring to Fisheries and Oceans Canada. There, he occupied various FI roles including those in Planning and Reporting, Accounting Operations and Audit and Evaluation. He then rejoined Natural Resources Canada in Accounting Operations where he implemented a procure to pay solution (ePayment) within the department and was a key player in implementing SAP. He after moved to project management within Real Property to implement the Accelerated Infrastructure Program and lastly became a Financial Management Advisor for a variety of sectors with complex programs, such as the Trans Mountain Expansion (TMX) Project.
